Laura Miear, MS OTR/L, CHT
Laura is an occupational therapist (OT) and certified hand therapist with 17 years of clinical experience. She graduated with a masters degree in occupational science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Laura is an instructor in the masters of occupational therapy program at Radford University, where she has taught for the past 10 years. She is the co-owner of Ability with her husband, Abram.
Laura spends much of her time off with her husband on a soccer field or in a basketball gym cheering for their two sons.
Makenzi Stamenkovich, MOTR/L
Makenzi is an occupational therapist (OT) who graduated with a masters degree in occupational therapy from Radford University. Makenzi has a background in psychology and biology, and has earned her certification as a 200-hour yoga teacher. Her clinical experience consists of both adult and pediatric rehabilitation. Makenzi is in the process of completing the rigorous requirements to become a certified hand therapist.
Makenzi enjoys spending her free time immersed in the mountains rock climbing or mountain biking.
